Old parks don’t generally have electricity, and we chose our little old park knowing it full well. The only impact no electricity has on the ceremony is that everything has to be live and unamped, including the music. Between my brother and my friend Shawn, I think we can cover it, but does anyone know any awesome weddingy songs that can be played by a proficient guitar player and an extremely talented fiddler?

Ideally there’d be at least one sacred song, one secular indie/jazz song and a couple instrumentals. The secular/indie song isn’t tough—-they’re all about kitschy love and stuff. But the sacred song? I don’t know. I don’t want the same ol’ same ol’ Steven Curtis Chapman Michael W Smith I Will Be Here Early 90’s stuff. (Think Waterdeep or something acoustic and earthy instead.)

Anyone have any suggestions?
